May I say I had to pick this up because of the packaging! Gotta love my zebra print! This palette retails online and at department stores, including sephora for $40. I got mine untouched for $9.99 at TJMAXX! The shadows are shimmer and satin, none are matte. It also comes with a large mirror that flips up that I did not get in the photos.
All of the shadows are very pigmented.
The shade Feisty Felicia, top row middle shadow, appears dark purple with glitter in the palette but once it is swatched it seems more like a charcoal. Unless you use a purple base on the lid I do not think that the purple will be seen. This shade as well as Caught in the Act Courtney, the first one on the top row, are very glittery! The glitter is throughout the shadow, not just a top coat. Bossy Bobbi, second row first shade, is a beautiful blue!
I would definitely recommend this for anyone! It is not difficult to use, the shadows are very soft without being powdery or messy, and you could make a variety of different looks from these 9 shades. I could easily see how you could create a smokey eye and even something a little more natural with the peach (Mischievous Marissa) on the lid and a little of Caught in the Act Courtney in the crease. ALSO if you have any of the empty mac palettes, these shadows will fit in them and they could be easily depotted from the cardboard packaging if necessary. If any of you see this at your local TJMAXX or Marshall's etc definitely get it! Its worth it!
