DIY Freestyle Palette-Reuse Your Old Palettes

I've wanted a freestyle palette like the Z-palettes or the Unii palettes and I found a way to make one!

I cant speak for everyone else but I have gotten some horrible palettes in the past! This in particular one is HORRIBLE! I got it from Ross a couple of years ago. Don't get me wrong, this Profusion palette has some beautiful colors but a lot of them are broken and every single one of them irritates my eyes. I've only used it three times with different shadows and my eyes itched and watered etc.  If you've ever had this issue before don't throw it away! Reuse it!

1. Most palettes have a separate piece to them that can pop off or foam that can be taken out. This one has a plastic piece holding the shadows that is separate from the rest of the palette.  Go ahead and pop this out

2. Clean as much as you can. Mine is really scratched up and dirty. It took forever just to get it this clean. Still working on it

3. Cut some adhesive magnet strips to size--they sell these at craft stores. I got mine from Walmart for only a couple of dollars, it comes with two sheets in each pack.  Make sure there are no issues with polarity or anything with the two pieces, I doubt there will be but you never know.

4. Stick the magnets on

5. Add your makeup! I decided to add some shadows. All of these shadows are in 26 mm pans, which are M.A.C. sized, but you can put whatever you want in it as long as the pans are magnetic. If they aren't magnetic you can do what I did and use the left over magnets and put them on the bottom of the pans to stick them into the palette.

Hope you enjoyed! I really love this so far! Feel free to ask any questions
