I received this Sally Hansen shade free courtesy of www.influenster.com in the Vow Vox Box. This isn't the first shade that I have used from the Complete Salon Manicure collection. These are definitely some of my absolute favorite polishes at the drugstore!
The brush is absolutely amazing! Instead of the tradition nail polish brush, it is long and flat, similar to a small concealer or detail type makeup brush! It really makes a difference in how the polish is applied! It goes on so much smoother because of the brush and more easily.
As for chipping. I did not apply a base or top coat, for experimental purposes, and it lasted surprisingly well. I am very rough with my hands and usually see chipping the next day but I did not see chipping with this polish until day three and it wasn't even too noticeable. The chipping started on the edges and didn't really continue on the rest of the nail.
I would be careful with application though because the color is so bright it is so much easier to see mistakes! I had to really make an effort to clean up the edges!
Overall, I absolutely love this shade!
I love that they included it in the Vow Vox Box it is the perfect shade of blue for the "something blue" that brides would love. It is very similar to the For Audry shade from China Glaze which is inspired by the Tiffany blue color. I am now contemplating how to incorporate this shade into my own wedding without it being too over powering. If anyone has any ideas please share!
