Essence Longlasting Lipsticks

I have found some new favorite drugstore lipsticks!!
These lipsticks are $2.99 at Ulta! Right now they have 10 shades, I picked up two to test them out.
On the left is "Dare to Wear" and on the left is "Barely There."
Dare to Wear is much more opaque and pigmented than Barely There but I guess the name suggests that. Even though Barely There is a little sheer, it is still buildable.  I have it on in this photo from my Basic Smokey Eye post and it looks much more pigmented when layered.

These have satin matte finish and are very creamy! I did not have to reapply them until an hour or so after I ate, which for me is very good! I tend to chew my lips a lot and lipstick never lasts!
The only complaint I have is that I did find that it stuck to the dry parts of my lips, which this time was right on the inside of my bottom lip.
Other than that I thought they were really nice! Especially for the price!

Urban Decay Basics 2

I have owned the first Naked Basics since it's debut and have been using almost every time I've worn makeup since! I absolutely love the formula of the original palette and have to say that I love the second one just as much!!!
The shadows of the Basics 2 are so soft and blend exceptionally well! It is much more cool/taupe toned compared to the first one which makes it even more of a must have for me!

There is a plus though! The first basics palette has a weird smell to it.  I'm not sure which of the shadows are the source but it makes the whole palette have a weird sourish smell (The Naked 3 that came out around the same time has the same smell, so maybe its a new formulation of some of the shadows).  The plus is the Basics 2 does not have this weird smell! I was so pleased!

I definitely think that this is worth having in your collection! This, as well as the first Basics, are the perfect addition to this all shimmery/glittery palettes that so many brands come out with.  They work great as transition shades or that perfect crease shade to tone down a shimmery look.

e.l.f. Disney: Snow White Collection! The Fairest of Them All Lip Colleciton

Again! I am so excited that e.l.f. is doing and continuing this Disney collection! Snow White isn't my favorite princess by any means but I have to say the artwork and other aesthetics put into this collection are really nice.  I really like the shadow book that came out with this collection but I think they missed the mark with the lips.

This comes with a lip stain, lip gloss, and a balm in a pot.
Here they are swatched with flash on the top and in natural light under neath.  All of the reds will give you more of a cherry red lip than a rosy or naturally red lip.

The best in the kit is the lip stain.  It is in the shade Crimson Crush (misspelled on the label by the way).  It goes on very evenly, which can be hard for lip stains.  It is a darker, blue toned red. It doesn't have any scent besides the slight inky smell that a lot of stains have.

Next in the kit is a lip gloss in the shade Ruby Kiss.  When first swatched I though this was so pretty.  You could see subtle purple sparkles in it agains the dark red, but it would NOT swatch evenly! Parts are vey chunky and others are slightly translucent. I tried to capture the uneven consistency and texture in this photo. It is in the middle.

Let me also add that this smells absolutely DISGUSTING! It smells similarly to Bengay and even slightly smells like tar!  I couldn't even put this on to see if it was prettier on the lips...

Last is the balm in a jar in the shade Berry.  This is very pretty on the lip.  It is moisturizing and is very glossy but the berry shade is visible enough to give you that Snow White pucker. Unfortunately it does not wear well.  I had to reapply it once I got into the car, so maybe after an hour without eating. It would be a nice addition to my purse though for touch ups when my lips feel dry.

Over all 2/3 of this was nice enough to get.  I believe this retailed for $4.99 so that may be worth it to some.  I would immediately toss out that lip gloss though.

So excited to see what is next!
